Club Members Receive Awards:

Lion Linda LaBorde (l) was recently awarded a Club President’s Medal by Lion Karen Calvert (r), club president. Lion Linda received her award for outstanding contributions to our club.

Lion Jackie Kreisel (r) recently received a Club President’s medal from Lion Karen Calvert (l) club president during a recent club meeting. Lion Jackie was recognized for her outstanding contributions to our club.

Club members complete Great Plains Lions Leadership Institute:

Lion of Year Receives Centennial Coin – June 2018:

2016-2017 Lion of the Year, (l) Lion Linda Elliston, 1st VP receives the LCI Centennial Coin from (r) Lion Karen Calvert, club President at a meeting in June 2018 at Eagles Landing Golf Course. Lion Linda will now become the chairperson of the the committee composed of the last three Lion of the Year selectees to choose a Lion of the Year for 2017-2018 Lions year.

Diabetes Briefing/Testing & Blood Pressure Checks During a Recent Club Meeting:

Lion Sonia Tumanut, KC World Outreach Lions Club presented a briefing on diabetes to include signs to look for and treatment and diet options.

Li on Sonia Tumanut, KC World Outreach Lions Club does testing for blood sugar levels.

Lion Ed Tumanut. KC World Outreach Lions Club assists with blood pressure checks while other members were tested on blood sugar levels.
